Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) on Monday launched "Spinner", a new sports drink co-created with cricket icon Muttiah Muralitharan, priced at Rs 10 in India. According to RPCL, the sports drink is supported by its alliance with leading IPL teams, such as the Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, and SunRisers Hyderabad, who will work with RCPL to raise brand recognition and visibility across the country.
Spinner will come in three flavor's — lemon, orange, and nitro blue.
Spinner is designed "for every Indian, including fitness enthusiasts and anyone in need of a quick, effective hydration solution," according to RCPL. Whether you're exercising vigorously at the gym or playing your favorite sport on the field, Spinner is the perfect companion for replenishing lost fluids and electrolytes.
In a statement, RCPL said that Spinner will lead the movement in creating a sports beverage category of up to $1 billion in the next 3 years.
