The United Arab Emirates launched its national lottery this week. With a 100 million dirham (US$27.2 million) first prize up for grabs, tickets for the UAE Lottery went on sale Tuesday. Apart from the "Lucky Day" tickets, people can also buy scratch cards ranging from AED 5 to AED 50, with potential winnings of up to AED 1 million.

You may purchase them on the lottery website. The first draw is scheduled for December 14.Participants can win Dh 100 million, Dh 1 million, Dh 100,000, Dh 1,000, or Dh 100, depending on the numbers they match. The "Easy Pick" option allows players to choose their own lottery numbers or have a random number generator choose them for them.

The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) has granted The Game LLC a license to conduct the UAE Lottery. Through its official website, it provides people who are at least 18 years old with a variety of methods to get involved. Also this year Wynn Resorts secured the UAE’s first commercial gaming license for its Ras Al Khaimah casino resort project from the GCGRA.

Lucky Day and Scratch Cards are the two games that The Game LLC is currently offering, but there is a chance that more will be added shortly. Tickets for "Lucky Day" are available on the UAE Lottery website for AED 50.
